Individual Counselling

Lorraine works with women to identify the values that are most important to them. Lorraine helps women to learn the skills and strategies to address the beliefs and attitudes that prevent them from having the life they want. This might look like; exploring the messages women received growing up about their worth, the experiences they have had i.e. grief and loss, traumatic events, or unhealthy family patterns that have shaped their self-concept.

Lorraine currently supports women presenting with: –

Lorraine does not have the capacity to provide wrap around support to people experiencing moderate to severe mental health challenges or a current crisis. Lorraine can assist people to access the appropriate support they need.  Lorraine works with people who are in at a point of readiness to make changes in their life.

Groups

Lorraine is an experienced group facilitator who has run; grief and loss groups, cancer related support groups, ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) and groups promoting better mental health to participants. Lorraine’s current focus is running tailored women’s groups focusing on positive mental health and wellbeing. Groups will be advertised on the MindHeart Therapy Facebook page.
